Biller/Collector
Performs insurance billing clerical duties; including the review and verification of patient account information against system. Experience in medicare billing and collections preferred. Bilingual a plus.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient computer skills required.
- Knowledge of general medical terminology required.
- Ability to multi-task with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Two years experience in healthcare billing preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare preferred.
- Meditech, Surgisource or Advantx experience preferred.
Operating Room Scheduler (Full-Time)
Requirements: Six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Possess knowledge of medical terminology (Operating Room specific preferred). Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels (including senior management). Strong interpersonal skills. Proficient typing and keyboarding skills. Experience with multiple phone lines. Experience with Meditech and Surgi Source preferred.
RN, PRE-OP/PACU (Monday-Friday and occassional Saturdays) FT/PRN
Work Hours: Monday - Friday and ocassional Saturdays
1 FT position is available (primarily working 12 hours shifts Thursday and Friday and Monday or Tuesday based on the surgery schedule needs)
PRN - 8, 10 and 12 hr shifts available
Qualifications:
Organized, detail-oriented and proactive. Strong communication skills with patients and other hospital staff. Pre-Op/PACU Charge experience. Current TX RN license with at least 2 years critical care experience (preferred). Current BLS and ACLS required at date of hire; PALS completed wthin 6 mos of hire.
RN, POST SURGICAL UNIT (PRN/FT)
Qualifications:
BLS required; ACLS (or within 3 mos. of date of hire) and PALS (or within 6 mos. date of hire). A minimum of 2 years experience preferred. Orthopedic experience preferred, but not necessary.
Work Hours: Shifts available 7pm-7am; 7am-7pm Sunday-Saturday
Medical Assistant (PRN)
To provide clinical and administrative support to the Pre-Op/PACU area.
- Greets patients and escorts them to the Pre-Op area.
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs.
- Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during assessments; preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests in area; disposing of contaminated supplies.
- Answers the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Transports patients and beds.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
- Continually restocks the necessary forms and office supplies in preparation for the next day.
Varying Shifts: Monday - Friday 6AM-7PM
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Certified Medical Assistant.
- 2 years experience in a hospital (PRE-OP) setting preferred.
RN, Operating Room (6AM-3PM; 11AM-7PM; 3PM-11PM) FT/PRN
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. Basic Nursing preparation diploma required, Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two years OR nurse experience required; Five years of OR experience preferred.
- Orthopedic, Spine and Bariatric experience a plus.
- Current BLS training (at date of hire). Current ACLS training (or successfully complete within 3 months of date of hire), PALS training (or successfully complete within 6 months of date of hire).
- Certification in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR) preferred.
Operating Room Tech (Part Time)
Qualifications:
- Diploma from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians.
- A minimum of two years experience as an OR Tech. Spine experience perferred.
- Current BLS training (at date of hire).
